The Heumaden-Süd study area is located in the southern part of Stuttgart-Heumaden and covers an area of approximately 43 hectares with 2,672 residents, 48% of whom have a migration background.

ISA developed a forward-looking urban planning concept that takes into account social, traffic, and landscape planning concerns. Initiated by demands from the district council and the Committee for Urban Development, a comprehensive participation process was conducted with four in-person events.
