Integrated Urban Development and Climate Adaptation Concept – Ditzingen / Germany

Ditzingen, like other municipalities, faces complex challenges, including structural change in the economy, the needs of an aging society, social changes, and the impacts of climate change. The municipality has grown significantly in recent years; many projects have been successfully implemented and are still in the planning or implementation phase, while at the same time new challenges have emerged. Against this background, the City of Ditzingen decided in 2021 to develop a roadmap for the future outlining how it intends to develop by the year 2040.
